MANILA, Philippines — Two suspected car thieves were killed in an encounter with policemen in Biñan City, Laguna Tuesday, a police spokesman said.
Authorities shot it out with the suspects along Diversion Road, St. Francis 5, Amorlon Subdivision
in Barangay (village) Canlalay at around 1 a.m., said Philippine National Police spokesman Chief Superintendent Agrimero Cruz Jr.
He added that the police officers had been conducting OPLAN Sita and OPLAN Galugad when they encountered the two men.
Police recovered two stolen motorcycles and two caliber .38 revolvers from the scene.
