DTCC claims 3 golds on Day 1

MEMBERS of the Dancesports Team Cebu City (DTCC) snared a total of three gold medals, two silvers and one bronze in the opening day of the Asian Dance Sports Council’s 21st International Dance Teachers Association’s IDTA Cup at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium in Hong Kong.

The DTCC, which is being bannered by Crisaldo “Loloy” Rendon and Eleonor O. Hayco, competed in several events in the Teacher-Student and Pro-Am categories in both the Latin and Standard events, where a total of 24 titles were at stake.

The champions in the amateur and professional division will take home $500, the second placer will pocket $250, the third placer will secure $120, while the fourth up to the sixth placers will receive $60 each. /Correspondent JADE S. VIOLETA
