Lapu dad elected PCL chapter chief
LAPU-LAPU City Councilor Eduardo Cuizon was elected chairman of the Central Visayas chapter of the Philippine Councilors League (PCL).
Lapu-Lapu City Councilor Eduardo Cuizon ran unopposed in the election held Thursday night at the Elizabeth Hotel in Cebu City.
Others elected were: Chester Lim of Negros Occidental, vice chairman; Nenita Layese of Mandaue City, secretary-general; Leah Japson of Cebu City, treasurer and Erwin Baquil of Loboc, Bohol, auditor.
Japson, president of the PCL Cebu City chapter, said there are ongoing discussions to draft senior councilors to gun for national positions in the PCL national election in March.
“(I don’t want to run for a national position because it entails a lot of travelling),” she said.
Among those being eyed to stand for national positions were Cebu City Councilors Gerardo Carillo, Nestor Archival and Sisinio Andales
