Dutch found dead
A 63-year-old Dutchman was found dead in a resort in barangay Basdiot, Moalboal southern Cebu last Friday evening.
Bern Strobel was staying alone in the dive resort for a three-day vacation.
An Austrian who was renting the room next to his discovered Strobel unresponsive and slumped on his seat.
The Austrian alerted the resort personnel who rushed Strobel to the Badian District Hospital where Strobel was pronounced dead. Police saw no signs of a struggle inside Strobel’s room.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of Strobel’s death./CORRESPONDENT CHRISTINE ESTRELLA
