DTI public consultation
THE Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) will hold a public consultation on its proposed administrative order amending the revised implementing rules and regulations of the Business Name Law today at the Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry building on J. Lorente Street, Cebu City.
The DTI said the consultation will hear comments of stakeholders on the proposed order.
Among the key points in the proposed administrative order is the automatic revocation of the business name registration if the registrant fails to show proof of operation within six months from the date of registration.

SENIOR CITIZENs’ MONTH
THE Golden Center of Cebu Inc. (GCCI) will join the celebration of Senior Citizens Month in October.
The group will hold a lecture series on bringing the elderly to the next level on its 9th founding anniversary on Oct. 1, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Cebu Grand Convention Center.
