Price of LPG to go up by P10 per kilo
MANILA, Philippines—Following a hike in the international market, the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas in the Philippines is likely to go up by at least P10 per kilo on Saturday, bringing the amount of a cylinder to over P800.
In an interview over Inquirer Radio 990AM, Arnel Ty of the LPG Marketer’s Association (LPGMA) said the price of LPG in the international market increased by $284 per metric ton.
Ty said there is a high demand for LPG internationally, especially from countries such as China, India, and Europe.
“The demand they’re getting is high that is why the price of LPG in the international market keeps on increasing,” he said.
With that price adjustment, the price of LPG in the country will go up by P10 or even more.
