MANILA, Philippines–Starting Friday, the rest of Philippine National Police personnel will receive their year-end bonus.
PNP spokesperson Senior Superintendent Reuben Theodore Sindac said Friday that the Department of Budget and Management has approved the P1.8 billion allotment for the 13-month pay of uniformed and non-uniformed personnel.
The bonus has been credited to the individual Land Bank of the Philippines ATM payroll accounts.
In its Facebook page, it said the PNP ATM Payroll System is the newest program of the PNP Finance Service in support to “cheque-less (paperless)” system.
For police personnel affected by supertyphoon Yolanda, particularly those assigned in the Eastern Visayas police regional office (PRO 8), they will receive bonuses manually or in cash, Sindac said.
“Either tomorrow or Sunday until Monday, Region 8 policemen will receive their 13-month pay,” he added.
PNP personnel who are not yet enrolled in the ATM payroll system will receive their individual cheques through the PNP Regional Finance Service Offices.
Meanwhile, Sindac pointed that year-end bonuses of police personnel facing administrative and criminal cases were deferred.
