SRP Midnight Run moved to March 2

/ 09:48 AM November 28, 2013

THE Cebu City SRP Midnight Marathon which was originally scheduled to unfold this Sunday, was moved to March 2, 2014, according to officials of the organizing G Concepts Events.

The running event, which is supposed to be the opening salvo of the annual “Kasadya Sa South Road Properties (SRP)” was moved to next year due to the mounting public clamor to postpone the race to give way to relief efforts in northern Cebu and Eastern Visayas which were badly battered by supertyphoon Yolanda which has already claimed more than 5,000 lives.

According to race director Joel Juarez, registration is still ongoing at the RUNNR Ayala Center Cebu and at the Cebu City Sports Commission office inside the Cebu City Sports Center (CCSC).
