Workers prepare a platform for the November 30 program commemorating the 150th birth anniversary of revolutionary leader Andres Bonifacio in Caloocan City.

The National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) is unveiling mementos dedicated to the Katipunan founder.

President Benigno Aquino, the guest of honor, would be presented with a coin and a stamp marking the Bonifacio sesquicentennial, according to City Hall.

The program at the Bonifacio Monument will also feature a reading of the Katipunan Decalogue by representatives of the youth, women, labor and professional sectors.

Roads around the monument will be closed to traffic from 1 p.m. on Nov. 29 until the evening of Nov. 30.

These include Rizal Avenue Extension from 10th Avenue, Edsa from Gen. Simon Street, MacArthur Highway from Calle Cuatro, and Samson Road from Heroes of ’96.
