Santiago to shoot back at Enrile in privilege speech next week

MANILA, Philippines – Senator Miriam Defensor -Santiago  said  she would also deliver a privilege speech  next week to answer the “personal  attacks” against her by  Senate Minority Leader Juan Ponce Enrile.

Santiago, who has  been on leave due to chronic fatigue syndrome,  has  asked Majority Leader Alan Peter Cayetano to schedule her privilege speech on  December 4, 2013.

She said, in a statement this  Wednesday,  she was trying but was unable to get a copy of Enrile’s speech.
