Cebu Academy Carmen batch ‘83 holds reunion
THE batch 1983 alumni of Cebu Academy in Carmen town, northern Cebu gathered last Oct. 26 for a fun-filled reunion.
The gathering started with a caravan at 9 a.m. fro the Carmen Plaza to the Fine Wave Beach Resort in Macaas, Catmon town.
A Mass officiated by Fr. Jumao-as was held at noon, followed by lunch and games.
Cebu Academy School president Conchita de Dios-Capuno, in her speech, said “I am so happy seeing my students being successful in their respective fields. Although not all are professional but still successful lang gihapon in their career, in business, in married life.”
Aljerico Davidon and Jocelyn Weiss were chosen Mr. and Mrs. Batch 1982-1983. The election of new batch officers culminated the activity.
Alice Batucan-Sanico was elected batch president with Rufino Solon Escoton as vice president. Other newly elected officers are Aljerico Davidon, secretary; Jocelyn Benologa-Weiss, treasurer; Rubinah Santillan-Basa, auditor; Emmanuel Kiamco, Roel Villamor, Rene Nuñez, Randell Dungog and Antonio Kiamco, mass media officers; Riche Abayon, Miguel Maningo and Joselito Almario, sgt-at-arms; and Oscar Peñas Mata, legal counsel.
