Milagros Platon-Ferranco; 83

Milagros Platon-Ferranco, of M’lang, North Cotabato and Odiongan, Romblon, passed away on Nov. 21 at the age of 83.

A retired public school teacher and the mother of Manila Standard-Today reporter Christine F. Herrera, Ferranco is survived by her children and their spouses, and grandchildren.

Her body lies in state at St. Peter Memorial Chapels, Commonwealth Avenue near corner Tandang Sora in Quezon City. She will be brought to Odiongan on Dec. 1. Interment details will be announced later.
