DZIQ: Billboards taken down in Quezon City

MANILA, Philippines – Several men have started taking down billboards along Kamuning in Quezon City Monday morning, a Radyo Inquirer report stated.

In the report, eight men were described to have started taking down billboards without safety gear. They were said to have climbed up a billboard without using safety harnesses.

The billboards posed danger to motorists in the area, particularly when storms hit the country, the report said.

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authorities last week tore down billboards along Edsa that were found to have violated the national building code.

For the report, listen to Radyo Inquirer, DZIQ 990.
