Did you know: Persons with disability
Of the 92.1 million population in the country, about 1.4 million persons, or 1.57 percent, have a disability, according to data from the National Statistics Office. Among the country’s regions, Calabarzon has the highest number of persons with disability with 193,000, followed by the National Capital Region with 167,000.—Schatzi Quodala, Inquirer Research
