Eagles clubs reach out to typhoon victims

THE Visayas Eagles (Bisayang Agila) headed by Eagle Governor Boy Odilao, together with the Eagles Club of Marikina, the Cebu Unified Eagles Club led by its president Bert Alvarado, the Aduana Eagles Club headed by its president Elmer Bailio and the local Bureau of Customs led by OIC District Collector Paul Alcazaren, conducted a humanitarian activity dubbed as “We Share and Care relief mission” for the victims of typhoon Yolanda last Nov. 17 in barangay Kawit, Medellin, one of the hardest hit in northern Cebu.

More than 700 families received relief goods, consisting of rice, canned goods, noodles, candles, mosquito killers and medicines.

The officers and members of the composite Eagles club who assisted in the relief efforts were: John and Mila Lee, Manny and Delsa Arellano, Rady and Shirley Abarentos, Bernel Neri, Eva Alcazaren, Bebie Pumatong, Bobby Inoferio, Orly Ruiz, Ali Muda, Asam, Elorde, Waldo Tangeres, Greg and Milda Mercado and Wingkle Dalan.
