MANILA, Philippines — After more than a year, the Anti-Organized Crime Division of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) has arrested on Monday one of the four suspects in a failed payroll robbery in March last year that led to the death of a company driver from Yushihara Trading Inc., in Caloocan City.
Joseph Fernal alias “Taba” was arrested Monday morning in a construction site where he was working, said Superintendent Ronald Estilles.
He also said that Fernal was not only involved in the foiled payroll robbery but also in other criminal activities.
Estilles added that three more suspects are wanted by the CIDG, namely: Ariel Jimena, Dioniso Jaime and the alleged leader of the group Anselmo Filan.
