3 men nabbed for ‘Masiao’
THREE men allegedly involved in illegal numbers game locally known as masiao were arrested in Medellin town, northern Cebu.
Teodoro Quipo, Vicente Mondego and Bernabe Noynay Rosal were allegedly caught selling number combinations when they were arrested by operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in Central Visayas (CIDG-7) yesterday morning.
Police seized P29,000 cash from the three men, who were detained at the CIDG-7 office pending the filing of charges against them. /CORRESPONDENT CHITO O. ARAGON
