MANILA, Philippines – At least three people were injured after an overhead street protector collapsed in Shangrila, Bonifacio Global City 1:30 p.m. Saturday, a spokesperson for the Bonifacio Estate Services Corporation said.
Jerome Cuyno told INQUIRER.net in a phone interview that the investigation was still ongoing.
In a separate interview, a security guard near the scene said one had a broken arm while two others sustained head injuries. They were rushed to the St. Lukes Global City.
Cuyno said they have not identified the casualties.
As of posting time, the 30th street in Fort Bonifacio Global City from 4th Avenue has been closed due to the accident.
INQUIRER.net tried to reach Shangri-la BGC for comment but has not responded.
