Operation Blessing brings kids’ smile back

/ 06:20 AM November 23, 2013

OPERATION Blessing Foundation Philippines, the humanitarian arm of CBN Asia, has brought back the smiles on the faces of children affected by the trauma brought by supertyphoon Yolanda through songs, stories and games.

“It is truly heartwarming to hear these children laugh once more,” said Dr. Kim Pascual, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Operation Blessing.

Despite challenges in logistical requirements, five teams from Operation Blessing are continuously doing relief distributions, medical mission and feeding programs in Leyte, Samar, Palawan, Iloilo, Roxas and northern Cebu.

“Let us continue to pray for our fellowmen that they will not lose faith and they will continue to hold on God’s love and faithfulness,” Dr. Kim said.
