Newly crowned NCAA champs back in action

/ 10:17 AM November 18, 2013

FRESH from their title conquest in the NCAA, the core of the San Beda Red Lions will be waging battle once again as they join the NLEX Road Warriors in their game against the Arellano-Air21 in the PBA D-League Aspirants Cup today at the JCSGO gym.

The Red Lions recently nabbed their fourth straight title in the NCAA after outlasting the Letran Knights in a thrilling three-game series last Saturday.

With barely enough rest, Ola Adeogun, Baser Amer, Rome dela Rosa and NCAA Finals MVP, Art dela Cruz joins forces with Ronald Pascual, Kevin Alas and Kirk Long among many others to try and bring back the title back to the NLEX camp. The Road Warriors championship streak was ended by Blackwater Sports in the Foundation Cup but they try to start their title campaign on the right note against the struggling Air21 (1-2).

In other games, the Big Chill Superchargers aims to remain undefeated when they tackle the Cebuana Lhuillier Gems (1-2). The Cafe France Bakers (2-2) will also face the winless Derulo Accelero Oilers (0-4). /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
