Red Cross run moved to Nov. 24

/ 06:35 AM November 09, 2013

THE RED Cross 143 Lapu-Lapu Marathon for Humanity originally scheduled tomorrow will be moved to Nov. 24.

Organizers decided to reschedule the running event since volunteers and personnel of the Philippine Red Cross Lapu-Lapu-Cordova chapter are still busy assisting victims of supertyphoon “Yolanda,” which passed through the Visayan region yesterday.

The announcement of the postponement was made by race committee chairman director Teodulo Ybanez.

The rescheduling of the running event is also because of the coming Low Pressure Area (LPA) that will enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Nov. 10 to 12.
