MANILA, Philippines—Malacañang announced the suspension of classes in areas affected by Supertyphoon “Yolanda” (international name: “Haiyan”), which made landfall before daybreak Friday.
The announcement, updated as of 5 a.m. Friday, was a consolidation of official class suspension orders made by various local governments through their official social media accounts, it said.

- Daet, Camarines Norte (all levels)
- Imus, Cavite (all levels)
