Cebu Pacific issues advisory on flight rebooking due to `Yolanda’

MANILA, Philippines–Due to Typhoon `Yolanda’ (international name Haiyan), Cebu Pacific passengers with domestic and international flights from November 7 (Thursday) to November 10, 2013 (Sunday) to or from the Visayas region, Bicol region, Palawan, Mindoro and select Mindanao destinations may rebook their flights for travel within 30 days, free of charge.

In a statement issued Thursday, Cebu Pacific said passengers can rebook flights to or from Cebu, Tacloban, Tagbilaran, Iloilo, Bacolod, Kalibo, Caticlan (Boracay), Roxas, Dumaguete, Legazpi, Naga, Virac, Puerto Princesa, Busuanga (Coron), San Jose, Siargao, Surigao, Pagadian, Butuan, Ozamiz, Cagayan de Oro and Dipolog.

Aside from the rebooking option, guests may also reroute to the nearest alternate airport or opt for full travel fund or full refund. They may call (02)7020-888 or (032)230-8888 for their preferred option, any time even after their flights.

The following flights scheduled Thursday have been cancelled because of Yolanda:

5J 767/ 768 Manila-Surigao-Manila

5J 223/ 224 Cebu-Butuan-Cebu

5J 787/ 788 Manila-Butuan-Manila

5J 391/ 392 Manila-Cagayan de Oro-Manila

Passengers affected by these cancelled flights may avail of the same options.
