MANILA, Philippines – Principal whistle-blower Benhur Luy told a Senate hearing on Thursday that he personally delivered money to the house of former Agusan del Sur Representative Rodolfo Plaza in Alabang hills.

Testifying at the Senate blue ribbon committee,   Luy also claimed that Plaza had “directly” received “commissions” from Janet Lim-Napoles, who allegedly masterminded the P10 billion pork barrel scam.

Plaza was among those charged with graft and corruption at the Office of the Ombudsman for allegedly funnelling his Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) or “pork barrel” funds to Napoles’ bogus non-government organizations.

Aside from Plaza, Luy said he also delivered money to the house of one Ruby Tuazon in Bel-Air, and to the residence of a certain Pauline Labayen, allegedly a staff member of Senator Jose “Jinggoy” Estrada, who was also implicated in the scam.

Estrada had repeatedly denied any involvement in the scam.
