Makati jail inmates to view Pacquiao fight live

MANILA, Philippines—Makati City Jail inmates will be treated to a live telecast of Manny Pacquiao’s fight Sunday.

It’s the first time that the jail compound will get a free live screening of Pacquiao’s fight, according to Makati City Hall spokesperson Joey Salgado.

Mayor Jejomar Erwin Binay announced earlier this week that Makati Coliseum will accommodate 3,000 people to watch the Pacquiao-Mosley fight via satellite on a first-come-first-served basis. The free show will kick off the month-long celebration of the city’s 341st Foundation Day on June 1.
