Robbers broke into two houses in Quezon City on Sunday and took over P250,000 worth of cash and valuables.
Businessman Teddy Leonor said he lost P11,000 in cash and P140,000 worth of valuables after his house in Barangay (village) Philam was burglarized. Case investigator PO3 Marlon Tan said the theft was discovered after the victim came home on Sunday night.
The stolen valuables included six gold necklaces, a wedding ring, two shoulder bags and a cell phone.
Meanwhile, medical representative Ma. Fe Lazana lost P22,000 in cash, a P20,000 titanium watch and three digital cameras worth P70,000 after thieves entered her empty apartment in Barangay Central.—Julie M. Aurelio
