Did you know: Children who live in poor families
About four percent of children aged 17 and younger who are in the National Capital Region live in poor families, according to the 2011 Annual Poverty Indicators Survey. This was the lowest proportion among regions in the country. The national percentage during the same period was 28 percent.—Schatzi Quodala, Inquirer Research
