Did you know: Readership in Metro Manila

November is National Reading Month. According to the 2012 National Book Development Board Readership Survey, 97 percent of Filipino adults in the National Capital Region are readers. The same survey showed that 92 percent of adults in the Metro read books; 86 percent prefer newspapers; 56 percent, magazines; and 41 percent, comics.—Schatzi Quodala, Inquirer Research
