MMDA reroutes traffic in Manila Sunday

MANILA, Philippines—Motorists in Manila were advised to take alternate routes as the Manila District Traffic Enforcement Unit will hold its Alay Lakad Para sa Kabataan on Sunday, the Metro Manila Development Authority said.

About 500,000 to 800,000 people are expected to join the activity, the MMDA said in its advisory Friday.

It said the following roads will be closed starting at 4 a.m.:
