Run for SugBohol turns over proceeds to GMA, CCCI

Dr. Potenciano “Yong” Larrazabal III recently turned over P275,000 representing the entire proceeds of last Sunday’s “Run For SugBohol” to the GMA Kapuso Foundation and Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI).
The official turnover ceremony was held at the Run For Sight Foundation headquarters at the Cebu Doctors’ Hospital.
Larrazabal turned over the P250,000 check to the GMA Kapuso Foundation and the remaining P25,000 to CCCI’s “Bangon SugBohol movement.”
The running event was able to register 1,300 runners and gather a total of P275,000 for the earthquake victims in Bohol.
But Larrazabal said only 1,000 runners were able to join the event because the other 300 who are from Manila and other parts of the country just wanted to register and donate their registration fee to the quake victims.
