DTI issues suggested price for candles for All Saints Day
MANILA, Philippines – The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) on Sunday assured the public that candle prices remained stable a week before the observance of All Saints Day.
To guide consumers and retailers, the DTI earlier issued a list of suggested retail prices (SRP) for candles ranging from P31.75 to P122.75.
The SRP list includes different kinds of candles from Sevilla Candle Factory, Inc. (Bahay Liwanag) and Manila Wax Commercial Corporation.
Victorio Mario Dimagiba, officer in charge of DTI’s Consumer Welfare and Business Regulation Group, said they already met with the manufacturers to ensure the stability of both prices and supply of candles.
“There is no price increase for candle products. The price of candle remains the same compared to last year,” he said.
