Help quake victims thru Caritas Manila
Caritas Manila, the lead social service agency of the Catholic Church, has released an initial P0.5 million for victims of the recent 7.2-magnitude earthquake that hit Bohol province and other areas in the region, and is again appealing for donations in cash and kind.
The initial donation was coursed through the Social Action Center of the Diocese of Tagbilaran.
Caritas Executive Director Fr. Anton Pascual said more funds are needed to buy additional relief stocks and to help in the rehabilitation of damaged churches.
Cash donations to Caritas Manila Inc. may be deposited in the following accounts: BPI SA 3063-5357-01, BDO SA 5600-45905, PNB CA 10-856-660001-7, UnionBank CA 00-030-001227-5 or Metrobank SA 175-3-17506954-3.

Other donations may be brought to the Caritas office at 2002 Jesus St. Pandacan, Manila; at the Radio Veritas station on West Avenue corner Edsa, Quezon City, or at the donor’s nearest parish.
