MANILA, Philippines–The Bureau of Immigration has included in its lookout bulletin former and incumbent government officials charged with plunder and anti-graft complaints in connection with the P900-million Malampaya fund.
Included in the lookout order is former Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita, former Agrarian Reform Secretary Nasser C. Pangandaman, former DAR Undersecretary Narciso B. Nieto, former Budget Secretary (now Congressman) Rolando G. Andaya Jr., Budget Undersecretary Mario L. Relampagos, former DAR Finance and Management Service (DAR-FMS) and current OIC Presidential Agrarian Reform Council (PARC) Secretariat Teresita L. Panlilio, Angelita V. Cacananta, Nilda P. Baui, Dominador V. Sison, Jr., Ronald J. Venancio, Candaba Mayor Rene E. Maglanque.
Ruby C. Tuason, Evelyn De Leon, Jesus Castillo, Lilian A. Espanol, Genevieve G. Uy, Ronald John Lim aka John Lim, Eulogio D. Rodriguez, Lorna Ramirez, Ronald Francisco Lim, Simplicio M. Gumafelix, and John Raymund S. De Asis.
Former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and Janet Lim-Napoles are also included in the lookout bulletin. Arroyo is under hospital arrest at the Veterans Memorial Medical Center while Napoles is at Fort Sto. Domingo. Both are under detention on separate charges.
The lookout order is pursuant to the Memorandum of Justice Secretary Leila De Lima to officer-in-charge Siegfred B. Mison.
Mison directed all Immigration ports to be on alert in the event that these individuals pass through immigration counters in any of the country’s international airports and seaports.
