Man’s body found in Mandaluyong
MANILA, Philippines—A body of a suspected victim of summary execution was found in Mandaluyong City early Monday, police said.
Police Officer 3 Ambrosio Gan of Mandaluyong City police said the body of the still unidentified male victim was found sprawled on the ground in Barangay (village) Malamig around 5 a.m.
The unidentified victim, about 40 years old, had a concrete nail stuck on his head. A packaging tape was wrapped around the victim’s neck. His hands were handcuffed, police said.
The case was placed for further investigation for possible identification of the victim, as well as the motive behind the killing.
