Firms urged to enlist as drop-off centers

In response to the 7.2 earthquake that hit Bohol and its neighboring provinces in the Visayas, companies and organizations across the country are encouraged to enlist their offices as drop-off centers where individuals and groups can send in their non-cash donations for the earthquake victims.

Interested business establishments and organizations can express their intent to be a drop-off center by sending their company name, location, address, contact person, and contact number to fleire@gbgcebu.org.

As a drop-off center, the volunteer company or organization will coordinate for the delivery of the non-cash donations to the victims. Non-cash donations may comprise of relief goods, water, medicine and other basic necessities.

GBG Cebu Google Business Group members and partners from NGenius and Istorya.net, among others, have already volunteered as drop-off centers.

GBG Cebu Google Business Group, an independent community of business owners and Google enthusiasts led by Fleire Castro of Third Team Media, will be collating information received as part of its information drive to assist with the relief operations of several groups like Bangon Bohol.
