Immigration orders tight watch on all ports for Misuari, 3 MNLF commanders
MANILA, Philippines – The Bureau of Immigration, upon orders from the Department of Justice, has ordered a tight watch on all ports around the country for Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) founder Nur Misuari and three other MNLF commanders.
Based on the Omnibus Immigration Lookout Bulletin dated October 17, aside from Misuari, included in the Lookout Bulletin are Ustadz Habier Malik, Bas Arki and Assamin Hussin.
The bulletin alerts the Bureau of Immigration of departures of fugitives planning to flee via any port of exit.
The four have a warrant for their arrest issued by the Zamboanga Court.
They, along with 57 others are facing a case for rebellion and violation of Republic Act 9851 or the Philippine Act on Crimes Against International Humanitarian Law, Genocide and other Crimes against Humanity in connection with the conflict in Zamboanga in September that lasted for almost a month.
