Hotelano Open Chess set Nov. 7 to 8

Woodpushers around Cebu City will have another reason to celebrate as cash prizes await them in the upcoming B.C. Hotelano Open Chess Tournament scheduled on Nov. 7 and 8 at the Deep Blue Chess Club located at the second level of SM City-Cebu.

Organizers of the two-day chessfest announced that close to P10,000 in cash prize is up for grabs in the competition, which will follow a 7-round Swiss system format.

The champion will pocket P3,000 cash, while the second and third placers will take home P2,000 and P1,000, respectively.
