AirAsia Zest also offers free airlift of relief goods
MANILA, Philippines – Budget airline AirAsia Zest has joined relief efforts for quake-stricken areas in Visayas by offering free airlift of goods from Metro Manila starting Friday, October 18.
“AirAsia Zest is offering free airlift of relief goods to Cebu and Tagbilaran from Metro Manila starting 18 October 2013,” it said in a statement on Thursday.
AirAsia Zest said interested charitable organizations – non-profit, socio-civic or religious groups – may avail of this free airlift by packing the relief goods; preparing a list of the items with its estimated value, size and weight in kilos; and sending an e-mail to Ernest Bernal, head of AirAsia Zest Cargo Team, at [email protected], including the complete contact details of the counterpart NGO or consignee.
It also advised those interested to avail this service to call the following numbers: +632-851-1801 or +632-851-1803 or proceed to AirAsia Zest cargo in Domestic Road, Andrews Avenue, Pasay City for further information.
Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific have also offered to bring medical equipment and relief goods for free to Bohol and Cebu.
