MANILA, Philippines—President Benigno Aquino III gave the green light to reactivate Executive Order 41, a presidential task force which aims to combat illegal recruiters, a report on Radyo Inquirer said Friday.

Vice President Jejomar Binay was tapped by Aquino to head the task force, which will coordinate all efforts and resources of various government agencies in the fight against illegal recruiter syndicates. This includes the manning of international airports, and checking of fake travel documents, the report said.

Government agencies that will work with former Makati Mayor in the task force include the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Bureau of Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA), Department of Justice (DOJ), National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) and Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA).
