Stream in danger
THE AEGIS Vipers pushed defending champion Stream Ingenyouity on the brink of elimination after they hacked out a 57-47 win in Game 1 of their best-of-three northern conference finals series in the 2013 E-League for Basketball at the City Sports Club-Cebu Gym.
The Vipers leaned on a balanced attack to move a win away from ending Stream’s hopes of completing what could be a magnificent three-peat.
Aegis’ Ryan Veloso led all scorers, finishing with 19 points aside from collecting nine rebounds, two steals, two assists and a block.
Meanwhile, Archie Brian Vincent Batua put up a sterling performance to carry Accenture to the southern conference finals as the Sharks devoured the Sykes Pioneers, 75-58.
