THE Philippine State College of Aeronautics (Philsca) in Lapu-Lapu City recently crowned the winners of its campus search.

Rhett Francis Ople and Marie Jenkin Enad were crowned Mr and Ms Philsca 2013. Jan Kristoffer Rodis and Crystal Sanchez emerged first-runners up, while Juninho Raphael Songki and Elma Bensi came in third-runners up.

The winners bested the other contenders in the question and answer portion, talent and costume.

Ten male and ten female students participated in the search.

They entertained the audience with their presentations and included intermission numbers by other Philsca students such as the cultural dance, modern dances and ballad songs.

Brig. Gen. Raymundo Elephante, Commander of 560th Air Base Wing of Mactan Benito Ebuen Air Base, graced the event.

“Each year we are holding this activity to build confidence, camaraderie, and unity among the students as they strive to finish their course,” said school director Nonadel Soriano. /CORRESPONDENT NORMAN V. MENDOZA
