St. Pedro Calungsod run fires off today

AROUND 1,750 runners will answer the starting gun for today’s St. Pedro Calungsod 1st Anniversary Run at the Ayala Center Cebu’s The Terraces.

The running event will kick off at 5 a.m. It is held in line with the celebration of St. Calungsod’s first year anniversary after being canonized last year in Rome.

The finishers of the race will receive specially-designed medals blessed by Pedro Calungsod rector Msgr. Vicente Tupas, Jr. It will feature a three-kilometer, 5k and 10k distances. /CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
