In an advisory, MMDA said that the Ayala Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Young’s victory parade will start at 2 p.m. from the Petron Station at the Buendia Avenue (Gil Puyat Avenue) corner Makati Avenue and will pass through Ayala Avenue towards EDSA.
The parade will end at the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City.
As the MMDA expects heavy traffic, it advised affected motorists to take the following alternate routes:
-All vehicles along EDSA, must turn right to Buendia Avenue, Right at Paseo de
Roxas, left at Jupiter Street, Metropolitan Avenue, left Don Chino Roces Avenue, right at Buendia Avenue to destination.
-For those going to the Makati City Central Business District, all vehicles along South Super Highway must take Buendia Avenue then right to Makati Avenue to Makati CBD.
Due this, vehicles from South Superhighway will have to take Buendia (Gil Puyat), then turn right to Makati Avenue towards Makati CBD.
“Traffic enforcers from the Makati Department of Public Safety will be deployed to guide motorists,” Makati traffic department earlier said.
