Blast rocks Isabela State University; no one hurt
MANILA, Philippines—A grenade explosion rocked the guard house of Isabela State University compound at Matusalem village in Roxas, Isabela Tuesday, a police officer said.
But no one was reportedly hurt, Chief Inspector Vicente Blancad, Roxas chief of police said.
According to the investigation, a witness said he saw two unidentified men near the area before the explosion, Blancad said.
The real motive was still unknown but the alleged land dispute between the university and residents of said village was being looked upon, he added.
