Megan Young fans asked not to troop to NAIA

MANILA, Philippines – Authorities on Thursday dissuaded fans of Miss World Megan Young from going to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) to welcome her, a report on Radyo Inquirer 990AM said.

Instead of going to NAIA, authorities encouraged them to join the motorcade of the beauty queen, the report added.

Young would arrive at 4:30 p.m. via Cathay Pacific CX 919.

She is flying back to the Philippines from London where she had her first tour as  newly crowned beauty queen. London will also be her official residence while serving as Miss World 2013.

A victory motorcade for Young will be held along Ayala Avenue in Makati City on Friday afternoon.

Young bested 128 contenders from all over the world during the Miss World coronation night last September 28 at Bali, Indonesia.
