JVR Aquathlon slated Oct. 12

THE first ever Mayor JVR Aquathlon will unfold on Oct. 12 starting at the Talisay City Landing Monument in front of the Larawan Beach resort in Talisay City.

The race will feature a one-kilometer swim and 5k run with two categories: 12 years old under and the 13 years old and above. Gun start will be at 7 a.m.

The top three category winners will bring home P3,000, P2,000 and P1,000 respectively while special awards will be given to the youngest and oldest finishers who will each receive P1,000.
