The war he is waging is against brain tumors which have affected his speech, breathing, swallowing, even the blinking of his eyes. Because of his condition, Theo is prone to pneumonia and viral infections. He has likewise been forced to quit his job as a call center agent.

Theo, who has a young daughter, is currently confined in the intensive care unit of Philippine General Hospital. Intubated and under treatment for infection after surgery to remove yet another tumor last month, Theo is once again fighting for his life.
