SC to provide free rides for Bar examinees

MANILA, Philippines—The Supreme Court will provide buses to transport Bar examinees to the University of Santo Tomas, the venue of the 2013 Bar exam.

In its Bar Advisory, the Supreme Court and Court of Appeals buses will be available to transport examinees and duty personnel to UST from the following pick-up points:

•         Quezon City Memorial Circle (2 buses)

•         Park and Ride on Liwasang Bonifacio (Lawton), Manila (2 buses)

•         Supreme Court compound, Taft Avenue (2 buses)

•         Coastal Mall Terminal, Paranaque City (2 buses)

•         Greenbelt and Glorietta, Ayala Center, Makati (2 buses)

•         Marikina Sports Complex (1 bus)

The shuttle buses will be stationed in those areas from 5 a.m. and will leave at exactly 6 a.m.

The high court said to avail of the service, examinees must present their Notice of Admission, Gate Pass and/or ID card to the bus driver.

Commuter vans will also be available inside UST in case of flooding.

After the examination and if there is still flooding, the commuter vans will transport examinees to Osmeña and Arelllano Drives near Gate 5 where the buses are parked.

The Bar examination will be held at the UST for four Sundays of October. This year’s examination is chaired by Associate Justice Arturo Brion.
