THE Cebu City Department of Manpower Development and Placement (DMDP) has produced 582 graduates for its 77th commencement exercises held at the Metropolitan Cebu Water District (MCWD) auditorium last Sept. 24.
The 3rd quarter batch of graduates took various short-term courses, such as advance fashion design, bartending, beauty care, culinary arts and commercial cooking, computer operation, dressmaking, food and beverage services, housekeeping, plumbing, computer programming, refrigeration and air-conditioning, tailoring and visual graphics and design.
Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama congratulated the graduates and urged them to be productive.
DMDP head Suzanne Ardosa distributed certificates to the graduates during the graduation ceremony.
DMDP has been providing technical-vocational courses accredited by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda).
