MAN with many names killed
A MAN was shot dead while he was walking in the interior portion of barangay Tejero, Cebu City past noon yesterday.
The victim died on the spot with 10 gunshot wounds in the body. He was known only by his aliases “Ken Fuesca,” “Ken-ken Kano” and “Ding-dong.”
Residents of the area said they do not know the victim because he was not from their neighborhood.
Police said two gunmen carried out the killing.
Rodil Magnanaw, a fried chicken vendor, was hit in the face by a stray bullet. His neighbors took him to the Cebu City Medical Center.
Empty shells of a 9mm and .45 caliber pistols were recovered from the crime scene.

FIRE HITS PHARMACY
AT LEAST P20,000 in property was destroyed after fire struck a drug store in barangay Mantuyong, Mandaue City yesterday morning.
The fire started at the stockroom of Three Sixty Pharmacy located at the corner of A. Del Rosario and B. Ceniza Streets.
The pharmacy was using a power generator as there was no electricity at the time the fire struck, FO2 Edgar Vergara said.
Vergara said they were alerted of the fire at 7:11 a.m. The fire was placed under control in 20 minutes.
